What’s Better a Gas or Diesel Truck?
It’s really not about being better or worse, it’s about having different capabilities. Gas pickups are more common than diesel, and for the average person a gas truck is what you’re looking for. Since they are more common, you’ll likely pay less for a gas truck compared to a similar diesel truck. Gas powered trucks tend to be better for commuting and driving long distances; gas trucks excel when producing horsepower in comparison to a diesel. Diesel trucks, however, are much better at producing torque, which is key when towing or hauling heavy loads. For anyone looking to tow heavy equipment, large trailers, or heavy loads like gravel and rock, a diesel truck may be the right choice for you.
What’s the Best Truck Brand?
There is no right answer to this question, and if we tried people would get really mad. Truck drivers are passionate about what they drive, and what company builds the best truck has been a topic of debate for a long time. A few truck brands do stand out, though. We tend to carry durable and reliable Ford, Chevy, GMC, and Ram trucks. All are made in North America and have decades of experience producing trucks for the needs of Canadians.
